My buddy is having the molded side covers from TOL Designs installed on his bike.. Along with front fender, gas tank, stretched bags, rear fender and air ride suspension. He was told molded is the way to go. But I don't know first hand...

I have Baddad's snap in full replacements. I Didn't want to glue covers on to the stockers. Have no issues or concerns with them.

Bad Dad makes a very nice set of replacement side covers, for 09 and newer bikes. They (unfortunately) do not make these for the 08 and older bikes. Most of the stretched covers are going to be mold-on covers that are glued onto a set of stock side covers.

I have Dirty Bird Concepts snap in... The fitment was not perfect (for my taste) but they were easy to install. If you are not comfortable doing the body work yourself... I would get the snap in style as a body shop could charge you a couple hundred bucks to get a set of glue overs to look good.

I just got the TopShop snap in side covers for my 09 SG. Waiting to get them back from paint. Fit and finish is real nice.

I have the Sinister snap in side covers. I had a ton of reshaping to do to get them to fit right with my bags.

Here ya Matt.. I will be back at it again today trying to get the final fit. The Bad dad competition fender and 7 inch stretched bags fit pretty good. The side covers have been a different story.. I have a buddy who does mock ups coming by today..
