Using cruise on any vehicle can result in sudden wheel spin when you hit a slippery spot, so I usually avoid it. If I am in an area with really low speed limits I might still use it to avoid getting a ticket. Otherwise I creep into ticket territory before I know it.

I've seen several instances in cars where the cruise had caused a vehicle to go into a slide before it cuts off ... Be safe, don't us e the cruise in questionable ( less than optimal ) circumstances

I do not use cruise when the road conditions are slippery or questionable. I just like to be able to use some throttle control when needed.
