Much better than thte hard as a rock stock Dunlop that I also got 10K out of on my bagger. I have a little over 5000 miles on the Com II and it still has lots and lots of tread. It pretty much looks new still. My buddy got 20K (he pushed it further than I would) out of his rear on his EGC.

I highly recommend this tire and sell it to customers when I can as it rides much smoother, will last longer, and makes a huge difference in the ride quality of the bike. I am yet to try the ME888 as I am happy with the Michelin's but it is a similar tire.

I have one on the rear. Howls in a turn just like you say...Only thing I can figure is when it rolls over on the water slashes. Mine started as soon as I put it on. My first though was what now, but I am almost 100% thinking it's the tire. Only does it if I get it pretty far over. Interesting since you are only the second person to say this.

Like others, I've found the Commander IIs a major improvement over the stock Dunlops on my 08 Ultra. I've got about 5K miles on them and tread wear is un-noticeable.

About 10 k on the rear now and it looks to have just less than half tread remaining. My Dunlops were done by then, into wear bars.
Removed front 16" with 9k and it was looks like 1/4 tread worn. Replaced with a 18" wheel and Commander.

Best tire I have ever run and I ran several different ones obver the years.

On the 13 EG the stock rear lasted 16K, replaced with Commander II and now have 24.6K on the bike, they still have lots of tread left. Like them very well, I ride 365, they work well in all weather conditions.

I still have the stock front tire on at 24.6K and it's still not at the wear bars. Will be replacing it soon with a Commander II.

I have the Mich Com IIs and I love them. Best ride yet. I do however echo the want of WWW. The howl you here when leaning the bike over on corners is definitely the rain hashes on the side tread. The deeper these grooves the more noise it make.

Do you recommend the normal HD tire pressure or higher like I read lot on this forum.
