There is $5,000 mark up if you pay MSRP. I did a trade worth $9,000. they gave me 10K meaning an over allowance. The bottom line is I got $1,000 discount off my 2014 Ultra Limited. I then picked up a 7 year warranty with tire for $1,800 and almost $2,000 for additional gear.

Played dealers again each other and this was the best I could do. Brought up their stock performance; 1y sag, dip of 50 % in sales last year, 43% decrease in units shipped to the dealerships this year. I did note the 8% increase in sales abroad.

Still they stuck to their guns. Not a write home to moma deal but probably where all the number should be.

 

Is that price due to the taxes on imports? Or is there other fees the Canadian government collects?

 

Are two year old prices relevant today? Is what anyone paid relevant to what anyone else can get?

 

That interest rate is really high in this economic environment. JMO

Last Fall the dealer floors here in MN were littered w/ year or two old Limiteds from trade ins....prob still many sitting on dealer floors.

 

MSRP in WA, but I did get retail price on my 09 trade in.
