Anyone happen to know if the "V" emblems come off of the luggage racks that attach to detachable back passenger backrests/sissybars?

I know it's **** but I really like the way the rack looks but don't want to fly the Road King V on my Electra Glide.

 

From experience...it does come off, I didn't like the "V" either. In a perfect world it could be replaced with something you could secure a tie down hook-end to. The rack was a good stop-gap but I eventually sold it and replaced with a detachable tour pak.

 

If you can take them off w/o damage, send me a picture and I may take them off your hands. I'm V-ing my road king to the max. LOL

 

Thanks for the info. I'd like to do a tour-pak but that's not in the budget right now. I just picked up a used rack from Craigs List so will see what I can find on pulling the Vs off.
