Heated Grips retro fit an 2013 Ultra
I just installed a Factory set of Heated Grips that came off a '13 Limited to my 2013 Ultra with no cutting or splicing...
1. First I removed the left grip and used a small diameter brass rod as a fish tape to install a piece of string thru my bar... I used another piece of brass rod to hook the string once I saw it at the passage hole in the middle of the bars inside the inner fairing...
On the left side under the Inner Fairing brace you will find a Pigtail connector for your Power & Ground source,,, you'll have to remove an endcap from the connector before you can Plug in the lead coming from your Left Heated Grip controller...
Then up behind the Right Inner Fairing brace you will find tucked down behind the Volt & Oil pressure gauge the other Pigtail coming off the harness to the Throttle By Wire connection, here you can plug in the connector with the Black & White wire connector coming from the heat controller that supplies the power to your throttle grip...
Then after you remove your Throttle Grip from the TBW sensor, remove the end cap from the sensor, you will see the two pin holes that the heat grip plugs into...
Hope this helps somebody out...
