Default ccw permits on indian reservations?

Anyone know the laws regarding carrying a weapon on an indian reservation? I live in az and occasionally travel through the reservation on the way to somewhere. I have a az ccw permit.

Contact the BIA (Bureau of Indian Affairs). They have their own law enforcement section.

I asked my brother as he is a shooter and he said

"I have a booklet somewhere at home that might have
some information. It seems to me that their rules may be a bit
convoluted, on the other hand they may be identical to the state that
they're in. The reason I say they may be convoluted is that I have this
vague recollection that Indian reservations are somehow sovereign
nations in some regards. That's why they can have fireworks that the
rest of us aren't supposed to. I'd be willing to bet though that it
won't be the same from one reservation (tribe) to another.

I seem to recall that most Indian tribes are sovereign nations so they can
have their own set of rules for things such as this.
I suspect that most don't make a big deal about it unless you give them a reason.

It may vary from state to state but I'm pretty sure there are no restrictions in Nevada. Our state has slightly different rules between Reno and Las Vegas. Check with packing.org or just call a local gun shop.

Don't give anybody a reason to search you and it doesn't matter whether or notthe concealed weapon is legal. What'sthe alternative, hide it under a rock and pick it up on your way back through?[:'(]

In Az. if you are on a State Highway passing through the rez you are ok as long as you stay on the state highway. If you are on a B.I.A. road you are governed by the specific tribal law. Some tribes allow and accept CCW other have strict laws against. Do a websearch on Az. ccw rule and you will find out more.
