I'm working on a plug-and-play solution to the PCIII startup delay problem. It's one thing to make something work on my own motorcycle. It's another to spend the money to make it plug-and-play and make sure it's ready for mass distribution. To make this worth my time, I would need to sell hundreds of these.

So, would you spend $30 on a black box that plugs into the PCIII that makes the startup problem go away?

 

I wouldnt pay 30.00, I would say, 20.00 -25 bucks would be a fair price, parts couldnt be over a few bucks, I think the profit level would be 15-20 bucks. IMO anyway.

 

personally, i don't see it as a problem, so no, i wouldn't.

Great idea, another piece that goes on the PCIII that attaches to the ECM...and what if this fails?
The start up issue is not life threatening...the hesitation from idle is!
Why isn't Dynojet solving the problem?
If you haven't bought a mapping system yet..go with a SERT and find a competent tuner..it's a two part solution.

 

your safe it only applies to 06/07 models.

 

As much as I would like the bike to start right away I would not pay to fix the problem.

DynaJet should be fixing this problem for no cost to current owners.

 

No start up problems here...........so I won't spend any money to fix a problem that doesn't exist.

Start up problems exist in '07 models only. I am spending $367 to make it go away...SERT.
