For the money I was already spending I went with top tier, FLHXS will always have more value down the road than a comparable FLHX. That said, it's your dough, get what YOU want! I don't care what you buy, you will be smiling going down the road!

I had a street glide then Thought I'd like the ultra more. Did the detachable touring pack, street glide shocks and much more. Still wasn't happy. Traded the ultra in for a FLHXS. Best thing I've done. Loving it. You won't be disappointed.

last time I looked, the FLHXS was $900 more than the flhx assuming that you added the flhx options like security and keyless.
IMO For that $900 you get a 'good deal' ( harley and 'good deal' Damn!) ie 6.5 boom box, painted dash black, color matched lower front skirt, navigation, reflex braking, pin striping, and premium ride shocks.
As for choosing the limited,,versus flhxs...the ultra glides have a cadillac ride and convenient storage. Flhxs quicker handling lowered stance etc. Really two different bikes imo. I choose flhxs for the above.
Best advise, demo both.

you get what you paid for, at the end of the day I think that for what you get is worth the cost. Now grant it that Harley is making a killing anyway. I'm a big believer that either you do it right once or don't do at all. The infotainment system, link brake system, security, gps, premium radio, upgraded suspension, are worth it. I just purchased the FLHXS black denim and I am completely happy... You will be too~!

Just had my new SGS deliverd cause i traded in my 13' Heritage. When it came down to choosing the base SG or SGS it was a no brainer. Why would i wish I could of had a lil more for the extra $7 payment a month for the SGS.

I thought the SGS had the high output motor, but may well be wrong. For the diff I would go with the Special,,,,maybe soon.
