Not sure I want the water cooling. I have the Wards FCS fans and they work well. I would transfer those to the EG Plus I would like to ride without the lowers in The Summer. Hard to do if they are radiators.

That is all I see extra except for some more chrome pieces. on the Limited. I think the EG Classic is a lot more bike than I need. but The Street Gide needs a lot bringing the price up quickly with lesser features IE back rest instead of Trunk, Aux light kit instead of Daymakers, Standard seat on EG is good enough. Stock seat on SGS felt like sitting on a 2X6, Mounting kits and I am close to $2000 more to make a Winter proof bike with additional front lighting. and not as good as the EG. I just wish the trunk assy was quick release without needing a kit and moving lighting to the bags. .

Just curious, how much did you think the trade in price would be?

I would love to have an Indian...as long as it is 1953 or earlier. It's sorrta like this, I don't want a bike that is a 'wanna be' any more than my wife would want a wedding ring that 'looked' beautiful but had cubic zirconium's instead of diamonds. To me the Victorys and the new Indians are zirconiums. I'm just sayin'

You feel the same way about any Harley built between 1969 and 1981?

Well they gave me $14500 against A price of $26,000 OTD for my bike. $3000 above KBB low book. I was refunded $1300 for the ESP and gave them $11,153.

Much better deal than Indian offered. I did test ride the Indian. Nice bike but after riding the FLTCU there was no comparison. Electronics are far better on the Harley, the handling was amazing for a barge. The differnce between the 2012 RK and the 2014 is night and day. I did not get the bike out of the parking lot and already knew i wanted it.

Indian dealer offered $11500 on the trade. Harley offered $14,500. $3000 above KBB trade. Far better deal and a whole lot more bike. I am a happy Camper. Actually would have had to pay more for the Indian THEN another $1000+ for backrest/Rack and mounts and I got the Vet Discount!!

The Indian was a great ride but I could not discern a noticeable difference for the 111 over the 14's 103. Electronics on the Harley far ahead of the Indian. Indain has some gimmicks like electronic locking bags and push button start. But I can use a key and the Linked braking is phenomenal. I think Harley is getting aggressive because they came to the plate at the worst time of year to buy a bike.

Pics in the Rushmore Thread.
