Pillon Luggage Ideas?
Bunch of guys planning on going to East Coast Sturgis this August. This will be 2-night camping trip and no women. Looking for ideas for stowage on the passenger seat on the Ultra. I'm not buying an expensive bag just for this purpose. I foresee doing this maybe once a year. Those little camping chairs aren't going to cut it and I really want to take a large collapsible canvas chair, the ones in the canvas bags. Problem is guys say that when you mount them horizontally on the tourpack you can't see anything behind you in the mirrors. Ideas??

There was a thread regarding golf clubs recently and in there was a pic of several clubs bundled and mounted on a diagonal behind the driver. Looked like the bottom was secured to the front of the left saddlebag and the top (grip end?) was secured to the back of the tour pak/luggage rack.
Found that thread here:

Could probable accomplish something similar with a bagged chair and the proper tie downs.
These come in handy for things like this and are reusable.

If it's just the chair...buy one when you get there- they cost $12.
if you have the racks on top of your saddlebags, a chair can fit there, or maybe strap it under tourpak, wide-ways will keep it out of the mirrors
I use a Tbag, it makes a great backrest, but a sleeping bag or duffle will do as well.

Buy one there like mkguitar said. They are cheap enough and can be found at just about any store. Just donate it to someone there leaving after you...pay it forward. Or if you get lucky, someone with a trailer may already have brought a bunch and be willing to rent a few out in exchange for a couple beers.
