Default Chrome Exchange - clutch bracket & M/C Reservoir Kit

I've had some decent success using Ricks chrome exchange on EBAY. Did my entire front end, wheels, and calipers on exchange with them.

Anyone done any chrome exchanges with the clutch basket & M/C reservoir kit? HD part# 42117-08

I just did chrome lowers, rotors, calipers and rims through ***** Shiny. Good reviews he has just like Rick. I am in the same boat as you, needing the clutch and MC. I do not need the handles or MC cover. Talked to ***** Shiny and they can accomidate such even though they do not list such. Give Rick a call and see if he can as well since you have the history? I do remember Rick was hard to get a hold of and Shiny Will was very responsive. Just my thoughts.

Seems a little high to me for an exchange seeing as you already have chrome levers and mc cover. You're essentially getting a master cylinder reservoir and clutch perch. I would be surprised if you couldn't ebay them outright for $200.

I didn't think it was that high priced either....they retail for $400 in the HD parts catalog

That's why I said ebay. If I needed to have one retail from the P&A catalog, I guess I wouldn't trust an exchange part either. Seeing as you can get both levers, perch, master cylinder, master cylinder cover and switch housings for $289 exchange; $200 for the reservoir and perch seems plenty to me.
