I don't think it's that because if I'm coasting with clutch pulled in the vibration is gone. If I still have clutch in and increase engine RPM it comes and gets worse/faster as RPMs increase

Crank run out is checked from the right side, in the cam chest.

Run out on both sides is only .004. Motor is out and apart and the crank is getting trued and welded. I'm still looking for the root cause of the vibration, trans shaft is about .003 runout, chain looks good, clutch basket is pretty new. I guess I'm gonna replace the swingarm isolators and maybe bushings but I don't know if it that will really help an engine vibration. I don't have the wobble, just a vibration.

My 04 road glide with 160k on it just started vibrating the floorboards. Can not be crank as it was trued and welded years ago. Motor mounts replaced approx. 15k ago. Got a baker 6 trans and new clutch. Only thing I can think of is compensator its got probably 80k and is making some noise. I feel for you looking for the vibration. Mine only makes it under heavy throttle, otherwise it has good oil pressure and runs like a scalded dog. No metal in oil or trans fluid. Keep us informed on your find be interested to know outcome..

Well you'll have less worry with the crank done for good. Personally I'd check the exhaust and make sure it's not hitting the frame or footboard brackets. It is very close to the right hand foot board bracket and could very easily be hitting there, especially as you rev the engine. Just an idea. Hope you find it.

Yea I figured that once the crank Is done I know it's not that. It's not the exhaust, I loosened it and moved it far from the frame and floorboards. The rubber isolators on the swing arm look ok but I guess I will change them when I put it back together. Should the bushings be changed too? I haven't really heard of them going bad.
