One of the things that's being done to my bike while it'sin the shop is moving the license plate under the tail light. He's also cutting off the that bar that holds the license plate bracket. He's capping off the ends with these smooth round caps that have a red led light in them, so they will act as running lights. Looks pretty cool.

Hollywood - Post some pics when you get your bike bike. I would like to see how it looks with the bar cut off and Red LED's in the holes. For some reason I am a little skeptical on those hidden antenna's. Do you have one that works well?

RJ - I'm sure some dealers got wise to the tactic. I did not hear of any of them around here asking for the damaged fender trim back. I have heard of them doing this on Anniversary edition tins though, so it wouldn't surprise me.

Very nice job Rocket Jockey--it really does change the rear look of your bike.

04RK and others with Road Kings or Electra Glides: if your bike has a rubber/chrome bumper/fender tip lamp, there will be additional installation issues. First, the fender tip light rear fenders have a quarter size hole in the lower left area of the fender that will bevisible if it is not filled when you do the FLHX facia--a body shop can fill it or buy a FLHR, FLHRS, FLHX fender and replace your existing fender.

Also, if the bike has the chrome/rubber bumper, you will replace it with part 91140-04 (bracket, saddlebag to fender support); this is the bracket that is OEM on RG's and RK Customs.

I posted a thread a while back about the facia no longer being a VIN restricted part after an ebay seller sold the facia and LED for $385.
