i have just cfr's on my 14 and they sound good even with the cat still installed

 

Yeah but I'm doing a header pipe as well.
The MGS is a real good performer, I don't know of a header pipe that makes more horsepower.
I'm very suprised there aren't WAY more people using this set up but maybe I'm way off.

 

I just read up on the MGS, from what i gather they end up 2"? The CFR's fit stock head pipe which are 1 3/4. Someone just posted about them not fitting on his Rinehart headers. You better check that before taking it all apart.

 

You can get either the header alone 1 3/4 or the header set with mufflers 2 inch. I believe.

 

This is what I'm thinking about also...anyone go with this combo yet.

 

2013 stock Street Glide . I put CFR mufflers on and De-catted the stock headers .
Out of the box it ran poorly then I down loaded a tune from Dynojet for a stage one .
Hard to believe it is the same bike it runs well and sounds great .

 

I got black CFR exhaust and Freedom Performance Headers. Also got the Dyno Jet Power Vision with a download from Fuel Moto. Great set up. Sounds GREAT and looks GREAT after 2 years.
