Default 2014 road king bars on 13 road king

Just did this swap this morning 2014 bars are about an inch taller and quarter inch more pull back than heritage bars all stock cables lines and wires fit fine. Just thought I would share In case someone else needed the info. Huge difference from stock 2013 bars

I did the same thing a few months ago. It makes a huge differance. But it left me wanting to go bigger. I plan on putting 16 ape this fall. Great looking bike also

Do you need any special parts or was it a straight swap? I have a set of heritage bars I am about ready to put on, but I like the looks of the 2014 bars more. Do you have a part number?
Thanks
Kev

Subscribed.

Great info! Thanks guys. I need to change up bars soon, and I was looking at the Heritage style, but I like that these are a bit taller.

No other parts are needed to do the swap. Just make sure you are talking about the heritage style bars. Not just heritage The 14's are the heritage style.

Not the same as the heritage they are almost an inch taller and just a bit more pull back. I bought both just in case cables would not fit. No changing of anything except the bars. Part # 55800099 price was $112

For what it's worth, you can put a 12.5 Wild One Ape on these bikes without anything but wiring extensions too...For those wanting to go a bit taller...

I didn't realize there was difference in the bars from 13 to 14.

I though the bikes were basically the same.
