to try and use the canned maps is a waste of time.

There are a lot of us on this forum that have had excellent results with the SERT canned Maps on the 07s. I was even able to add SE203 cams and still no need to adjust the Canned MAP......and yes it was on a Dyno with an O2 sniffer. Actually kinda sucks. I have free access to a dyno and dyno operator and didn'tneed it.
TheBIG DIFFERENCE between SERT and PCIII is that with SERT you retain your O2 sensors on an 07 which will allow it to learn and adjust for MILD modifications and variations as your motor ages. Why someone would take a step back in technology just to save a few bucks after forking out +18K escapes me?

PCIII now has an add on that allows you to change to different maps while you are riding. You can have your bike dyno tuned and have them tweak it for max performance without regards to gas mileage. You can also have a map for touring that will give you good mileage. The unit is weatherproof and is removeable. It has a media card to store your different maps. It's called ex and can be added to any PC III usb. Sounds pretty neat and I can't wait to hear from guys on this forum who will try it.It's coming soon!

Just out, Dynojet has a new PowerCommander out that interfaces with the O2's.
But from what I've read here, it seems it pretty much hasEPAcompliant all over it.
Jamie or someone said stick with the old PCIII as it performs better.

You must get the SERT to take advantage of the 02 sensors.

I too understood that a minus number in a block was giving you stock setting minus the given percent. I understand it to mean that a PCIII map with all "0" would equal the stock ECM settings. Therefore using a -10 in a given block would be 10% leaner than stock ECM setting for example. I don`t mean to disagree or start a dispute but this is the way I understand the way the unit works. 10 would be 10% richer, -10 would be 10% leaned than stock ECM.
Either way I am running the map Jamie loaded for me with miner additions to reduce decel popping and the bike runs great!
I am very satisfied with my PCIII.
