New chopped tourpak came in the mail yesterday, and I am stuck trying to install the gloss black hinge kit to replace the stock chrome ones. The instructions and even service manual just says to "remove lid liner" but I cannot figure out how to without tearing something up. I've stripped everything off the lid that would be preventing it from coming off.

Anyone have any helpful hints?

As it turns out I'm an idiot - there is no lid liner. Had to pull off the rubber seal to get to what I needed.
