Default Gasket question for V&H Power Dual owners

I've got a question for those that own, and have removed/reinstalled Vance & Hines power duals. The mating surface on these is much flatter than the tapered mating surface of the OEM header. The Power Duals even came with their own exhaust gaskets. When I have to remove the V&H header for some reason, what gasket should I use?

Thanks

David

OEM gaskets were just fine for my reinstall. They're tough to get in, but that's nothing new.

I have Power Duals, and have removed and reinstalled.

I used the stock HD gaskets when I had Power Duals. Just last week I took them off and no signs of leakage. The stock gaskets worked great. 120 in. lbs and youre golden

I have Power Duals and used the gasket they send with them. They are the same gasket as as Screaming Eagle gasket you can get from Harley. I even had a Harley tech tell be they work better then the tapered OEM ones. Just what I did.

I just did set of power duals and used the gaskets which came with pipes and had both ports leak, searched here and found a lot of people using the stock gaskets so off to the dealer I went and they said use the stock ones, got her all back together and no leaks.

I used the flat SE gaskets and have had no issues so far.

+1

I have the Power Duals and used the supplied flat gasket from V&H.
I also have used the SE flat gaskets on previous pipes.

If I need new gaskets for these Power Duals, I will use the SE gaskets.
