Default 2014 SGS lowering kit?

Need to drop the bike so that I can get a better footing, apparently the 19 inch wheel difference is the culprit. Called Progressive and they don't have a front end lowering kit until sometime in September of this year, Harley has their own version but they don't know how much the kit lowers the bike how can you sell a kit and not know wether it drops it 1 inch or 2 is beyond me but they don't specify, so I will not be getting a Harley part.

Progressive sells a lowering kit spring but thats not what I want, I want the ability to make the proper adjustments, wether 1/2 inch 1 inch, etc.. So far I don't know whats out there so I'm hoping that I could get some guidance from the board members. My mechanic said that the front end could be lowered about 1/2 without buying anything for it, but I'm kinda skeptical but if it helps I will do that also...

Thanks in advance...

Im 5.7 with a 30 inch inseam. I have a 14 SGS and did the HD front lowering kit and sent my seat to Mean City Customs. I am fully flat footed, the front is a little stiff but hoping it will loosen up as the miles go. If I wanted to go lower I would do air shocks and send them to bitchin baggers to get lowered. But I am happy the way it is right now.

Higher platform boots (Not the Gene Simmons dragon boots) work very good and if that isnt enough a more narrow lower profile seat will also help. These 2 alone can net you 2" easily. Plus Street Glides ride rough enough stock and lowering will not help that at all.

By the way I'm 5'8" with a 30" inseam and the boots alone worked for me.
