To me, they are really two different bikes, you can spend an equal amount of money trying to get one like the other. If you want custom cool, buy the flhx, if you want long haul comfort buy the classic with the large seat and tall windshield. I prefer the flhx, but then again i typically ride without a passenger and like some wind in my face!

FLHXthen add the items you want. the uc has the big gaudy blinkers and the ugly fog lamps. the add on lamps for the flhx look betteralong with the clean fenders. the flhx can be made to look like the screamin eagle ultra over time.
