None taken! I have them in my Sporty and don't get any benefit from them at all, which is why I'm trying Intiminators in my Glide (along the the CCE Tour Trac kit!).

Swingarm is back from the welder...

Not exactly what I was looking for, but it think it will work.

I need to find a press to get the Cleve Blocks out of the swingarm so I can drop it off for powder coating.

Do a trial assembly first, just in case you have to 'adjust' the reinforcement so it all works properly! Been there.......

What other way is suggested to weld the reinforcement to the swingarm?
That looks clean.
It would appear to be a "jacket" on two sides in the picture (top and one side).
Would it be possible to weld on three sides (top, bottom and the one outside).
The welding and the use of block adjusters inside the hollow tube replacing the lollypops should really strengthen the situation.
Wonder if you will have a problem on brake side due to length of build-up at top since the caliper has very little clearance against swingarm at the top of swingarm.
Belt side is less of a problem.

I think the two-sided reinforcement will be sufficient. When I have my cracked swingarm repaired I plan to go more extreme.

I don't foresee any clearance issues...but I'm not totally happy with the placement of the side plates. I would have liked to have had more clearance for the axle washers - but it will work as is.

Since I've went with a smaller drive pulley on my transmission, it sets my axle back far enough in the gusset to clear without problem.

hello, i know its a year later , my swing arm broke on drive side also , i have no lowering blocks, have not herd of any breaking on brake side, i welded mine up on bike.
i agree with u if it was lowering block issue would be breaking on both sides. i welded the swing arm back together then put a 3/4 x 3 " plate top and bottom. thats what harley should have done to reinforce area.
thx bill
