I have a 03 Injected Road King. At low RPMS it will miss or hesitate.
At full to around half throttle it runs great(doesn't skip a beat).

Most of the time its does it on take off especially in 2nd at low speeds.
In tight stuff is when it seems to hesitate the most.
Again in 2nd gear just you're rolling on the throttle in the beginning of a curve.

Here's the history:

I have Afermarket pipes, don't know the manufacturer- big oval pipes thats all I know -the opening is about 2" x 4" at very end of pipe.

Stage 1 kit added, seemed to make it worse.

Dealer told me it was a intake leak paid them $100 and it seemed to
help for a little while and then came back.
I took it back and they worked on it for a bout 6 hours and said they had it whipped.
Still have them hesitation.

Here's what they told me:

1. They ran diagnostics, nothing showed up.
2. Next they put it on a dyno and said it ran harder than the new 96 inch.
3. After that opened it up looking for aftermarket parts because it ran higher than normal #'s
4.Next not eactly surewhat they did withtuning, but he didsay theytrieddifferent downloads.
5. He also told me that it was running a little lean so they added a little more fuel to the mix.
(still runs good on top end but definitely has been toned it down, doesn't run near as fast)

Any help would be greatly appreciated, don't want to spend alot of time going back and forth
to the dealer.

1)is it possible that this road king has a power commander?...take the side covers off and look if a power commander is installed? possible map issue...
2)sounds as if air and fuel are incorrect ..consider review of ALL connections from air filter to throttle body.
