It has been a week without any action. I can change it up if this challenge isn't wanted. Figured holes would be an easy and broad enough topic to keep the thread rolling, but instead things have really cooled down.

If this post reaches 6 recs the first person to post any pic of their bike can make the next challenge, or if you want to nail this one, just say so and I'll look forward to seeing your holes. ;-)

If someone is looking for ideas...

Abandoned mines.

Natural caves.

Jenna Jameson.

Sink holes.

Canyons.

Road tunnels.

Excavation sites.

Geysers.

Egregiously dangerous potholes in roads.

Notable drilling rigs with interesting backgrounds.

Volcanoes.

Or just your bike in front of your favorite watering hole.

I was sure the openness of this term would allow more people a chance to jump in with unique places in their areas. I guess we'll see if the prior post reaches 6 recs or anyone signals that they're gonna participate.

It's been a hectic week at work. I'll still try to get the hole photo, unless someone beats me to it.

And Bill, I still can't run yet, recovering and whatnot. You're the first person I've wanted to race in while. You up for it? No, I kid. I've never had it, but I've heard it awful. Heal up quick!

I've been remiss in encouraging your healthy recovery and congrats on the bike.
I myself had some pretty drastic Mastoid surgery on May 31st. Probably didn't put 5 miles on the trike the months of June and July, just starting to recover from that. Now the damned gout. Doc appointment tomorrow.

try some olive leaf tea. That’s what my buddy uses for the gout. Stinging nettle tea should help as well but he swears by the olive leaf 👊

I'll try anything at this point.

Good to see there is still engagement. No rush, get healthy everyone!

I'd knock out my own challenge, but that just seems odd.

If you do, it had better a sexy hole.

That sounds bad. Not even gonna try to clean it up.

Well best wishes to you. That really is rough and I'm sorry about you dealing with it.

There's an old quarry nearby that is now a big scuba diving "hole" I swung by there but the gate was locked. So fail. I'll try again today.
