It's very hard to compete with the great rides I see here.
A lot of pride is evident in these post.
This one hasn't had a long trip yet, but is ready for one .
It been a year in the making, and the paint isn't finished.
I still have the striping to do on it .
But everything else has been completely gone through with all new bearings and brakes.

The purpose of this particular thread is a "photo challenge" (go back to post #1 to see all the rules)

Basically the last winner will issue the next challenge. "Your bike with pumpkins", 'your bike with a barn" etc etc/

Browse through the posts.....you'll see how it works and what all the challenges have been,.

Now go out there and ride. The current challenge is "a diner sign with your bike and gear on seat." I believe.

 

Apologies, but it's not ready for that at this point, and soon, here in Wyoming, we're going to look more like the North Pole. Maybe for that I'll be ready, I'm hoping.

 

What about the guys that live in helmet free areas and don't wear gloves ?
I need my glasses to see to take the pic too !

I think the whole gear on the seat thing is pretty petty.
Just post the pic and keep the thread rolling.
This challenge has been up since 10/11 !

 

@phil48315 if you don’t want to follow the rules then don’t play the game. Otherwise carry gloves or glasses. I have a few pair of both on my bike for different conditions. None take up much space.

Now in fairness this is supposed to be complete in seven days I think so I will post a new challenge in my next post.

 

Next challenge is a photo of your bike while you are currently on a ride. No gear needed, just keep your integrity.

 

Time to move this thread along....

Temps were unseasonably warm today, into the mid-60's F so it's a good thing I hadn't winterized the bikes yet. Headed out to the park to check how the beaver's lodges are coming along.



Next challenge, I hear there's a big election coming up soon so how about your bike with any election-related sign, billboard etc. Bonus points for more than one candidates' ads in the same shot.

 

Yesterday they were everywhere but my battery died. So I went all over today if ok this is actually in my neighborhood. My driveway in fact. If ok I'll take if not I understand. There was one on I85 North bound but I wasn't gonna stop for that. I left my purchases out so you could see I was somewhere.

 

After some weekend snow and wind chills in the 20s we got some decent weather.
I had to run some errands and go take moms gazebo down for the winter.
I stopped to grab something to drink at this party store and noticed all the political signage.
I even scared some small children and removed my hat and put it on the seat for the pic !
Last haircut was in April and I quit shaving Sept. 1st. lol

This should meet the requirements for the challenge but I can't think of a new one.
@UltraSteveUSAF If you have an idea post it up, only got a few weeks till the weather sucks up here.
