SoGA got the fireworks stand a few posts above. Current challenge is a sail boat.

 

Surely somebody on this thread lives near a harbor with sailboats! We don't see many of them here in the Great Basin. I am going to Norfolk next week. Maybe I should cancel my flights and just ride!

 

Here you go. Saw a ton of sailboats in the harbor at Kittery Point ME, but no where to safely stop for a pic. Hopefully this one will suffice. Just a little one tied up in the Piscataqua River. The far shore is Portsmouth NH

Kinda crazy when I can get a picture of a submarine easier than a sailboat!

If this is acceptable, next challenge is a picture of your bike with a sculpture or statue.

After a 10 minute ride with temps in the high 90's (heat index of 105), a $4.00 admission fee to Tqamoka State Park here in Ormond Beach Florida, betters than a mile in and out on some of the most rutted dirt road (good thing it wasn't raining) I finally found Chief Tamokie. I even had to sneak past the fence and into the paved viewing area in front of the Statue to get this pic. Hope it was worth it.

Assuming this meets the challange the next one is...drum roll please...as up close and personal to a small aircraft in a local airstrip (no jumbo jets please). Spin a little story with it if possible and don't forget GOS like I did.

I know it has only been one day, but got to keep the thread near the top or it will die.

I also know there are a lot of airstrips around so the challange should not be too difficult.

Maybe someone of our international members, or someone from Alaska, or maybe from Hawaii should jump on this one.
