Not sure if this really qualifies as a 'rail yard' - but it's a train station and post office for the Silver Lake Railroad ( http://www.silverlakerailroad.com ) in Silver Lake NH. Made a nice stop on a chilly morning commute to work.
Liked the edits Google photo assistant did on this one.
If these meet the challenge, I'll stick with the alternate transportation theme - since Columbus day is coming up, how about a pic of your touring bike with a boat that's in the water. Bonus points if it's a sailboat, or named the Nina, Pinta or Santa Maria :-)

Lol I'm not a nautical guy at all, so I apologize for being unintentionally specific. Ships, boats, dinghys, rafts, canoes, whatever works. I was just trying to avoid a boat on a trailer! :-)

lol well it was raining when I took pics. so I figured....go with it .. nautical theme... If anybody wants to go out on my barge tomorrow....lmao...yacht is in the shop.... sorry
and I rented out my Tug-boat and my Ocean Liner does the Alaskan Cruises this time of year, you know, the Aurora Borealis is in season,( let a friend borrow it), but my paddle-boat is empty right now lol

Small fishing boat going out, how about some fall or Halloween decorations
Was hoping this challenge would wait another week or so. My neighbor is obsessed with Halloween, and by the middle of the month it will look like Halloween got really hammered and puked it's guts all over their yard! Good luck all.
I saw the boat challenge this morning while getting ready to ride the old river road to Wisconsin. I was pretty sure I would find someone in the water. As I was riding past I noticed them getting ready to launch the boat. The odds were in my favor.
