I've owned a lot of bikes over the years. Had a 1984 1300 Yamaha Venture V4 and I think it could have smoked my 2012 103 Ultra. 4" Rineharts, PCV, Vances & Hines power duals and S&S a/c. But the Harley is by far the most fun of any I've owned. That's what I'm looking for.

I traded my 2008 Triumph Rocket for a RK. Rarely got to use the torque and HP of the Rocket. Really nice bike that will smoke most anything out there. Much prefer the ride on my King! Though I did need the stage two upgrade!

According to Motorcyclist, Goldwing makes 118hp and 125 ft lbs.
strong Fuelmoto 107, B heads and 777 makes about 115hp and 127 ft lbs.
So; NO

You might beat him up till about 20-30mph then he's going to blow by you IMHO, torque is a wonderful thing for getting off the line.

you would have to spend a lot of money to get your horsepower up to the stock goldwing. the honda will out perform in the twisties too, so better call howard for some suspension work. then when you arrive at the watering hole shortly after the goldwing, you can watch in amazement as he puts the wing in reverse and backs into a parking spot. tell your old lady to get off and help you push your hog into a parking spot. at least, your loud pipes will prevent you from hearing him laugh at you.
