Default Progressive 970 shocks?

Anyone running the Progressive 970 with remote resevoir shocks on their touring bike? If so, what is your feedback?

I'm curious about these as well. Most single-adjustment shocks advertise adjustable rebound dampening, but not compression.

I know for that price I'd be looking at something more custom, like an Ohlins, JRI, Works, etc.

I like to Ohlins S36 P but wanted thoughts on the Progressives if anyone has experience with them.

I can't comment on the 970s, but have Ohlins, courtesy of HDF sponsor Motorcycle Metal. Howard there now supplies JRI as well and will custom build them and Ohlins.

Default Progressive 970 shocks

Will they fit on a 2013 FLHTK with the hard saddlebags?? Also what length should I be looking at if I want to maintain the stock height?

The only thing JRI or Ohlins changes at the factory is the external spring based on weight and type of riding. The internals are the same on each model of shock. This is directly from both companies. Both can be rebuilt, at your cost. I think the Progressives come with a lifetime warranty and they rebuild for free. Need to double check that.
