Default seats for 2014 touring

Does anyone have first hand knowledge if the seats from 09-13 work on the 14's?

Harley lists a different part number for the 14's but it seams that all the aftermarket seat companys are listing same seats 08 or 09-14

I am almost certain they are all the same. There has been a few threads mentioning the same thing. Seat appears no different than my '11SG

Isnt there a change in height of the tour pak? I think I was told this is the reason.

'12 HD hammock seat fits '14 Street Glide--but I think I heard the same thing about touring packs or something.

I purchased a detachable tour pack for my streetglide special... so maybe I should put it on and then either measure or find someone to swap seats with.

Looking to have a wider rear seat when tour pack is on but had planned on picking one up second hand since I most likely will only have it on bike when Misses is riding.

I have a Mustang touring seat from the 08-13 touring line on my '14 Limited. Yes there are some differences in the seats. If you check the Harley seats they do not list the '13 and earlier seats to fit the '14. The space between the tourpak and seat is longer on the '14s and the stock '14 passenger seat is wider. I noticed it right away when I mounted the seat on my '14. the mounting brackets etc are the same, it's the length and width of the seat that is bigger on the '14s. I found it interesting that you asked for 1st hand knowledge on this issue. That did not stop other from sayin "what they heard or maybe" I figured you could use what you actually asked for and not guesses.

First hand knowledge and personal experience is almost always more acurate.

Is the difference that noticable? Is it enough where saving $$ on a second hand seat may not be worth it?

Thing is I called Mustang and they sell same seat for all those years. Not a dif one for the 14

I have my Harley low reach seat 12-FLHTK And it fits just fine on my 14-FLHTK, maybe just a little shorter at the tour pack but nothing to be concerned about.

Anyone try a Zeppelin seat yet? They are pretty big all around and fit tight on my RKC with a tour-pak….dealers says no! I think he is wrong and nothing like first hand info.
