Default Saddle bag stand

When your really ....... cleaning the back end of your bagger you probably pull the bags off. Has anyone seen a stand that would allow you to have access to the entire bag for detailing purposes which would also keep them off the ground and safely out of the way while ya do the back end of the bike.

I wish!! I usually set them on a towel. You could make something so you could run 2 bolts through the mount holes and bolt it up temporarly.

No test here! Yeah I usually set them on a towel. Guess I was just thinking out loud. But would it not be sweet to set the bags off to one side and not worry about them fallin over. And if a person were to be slick they would attach to a stand the same way as they are secured to the back of the bike. Take it one step further and when ya finish the detail and your bags are safely on the bike pull a pin and the stand folds flat and ya hang it on the wall till the next major detail.

Saw a post awhile back about putting the (4) of the small self adhesive bumpers (1/2" Dia. X 1/4" high...comes in bunch of sizes and colors at Home Depot) on the bottom ofeach bag. Now I don'thaveto worry about where I set them when I take them off. Another great idea from this Forum!!!

Look at the above picture, Now head out to Home Depot ( you'll have a genuine H D product) and get yourself some PVC pipe, glue and ahacksaw. You'll have ainexpensive stand in no time andyou can keep the hacksaw or other projects.
