Street Glide owners, what size windshield do you use
I love the look of the 4" windshield but find I prefer a taller one on long rides, especially on windy days. I usually run the 4" shield when riding locally but I sometimes use a 8"recurve on longer rides. Just wondering what size windscreen other Street Glide owners use.

I'm 5'10", and I have both the H-D Wind Splitter Windshield (7 inches in Dark Tint, part # 57164-10) and the LRS Re-Curve Ultra-Elite Polycarbonate (8 inches in Dark Tint, part # 17620).
Both are quality products. But with the LRS I get the deep "woomp, woomp, woomp" sound with my FF helmet on. It is very disturbing and gives me headaches after just a few miles on the freeway. So I have been sticking with the H-D 7" screen, and it works fine for me.

I tried a 10" demo wind splitter and it was to tall for me I'm 5'9" and look right though the curve, put 30mi on with it and almost pulled over to take it off because I was getting dizzy. I wanted to try the 7" but who ever took it out on loan kept it so I have to wait for the dealer to reorder.

A shield that works well for me might not work at all for you. It depends on your height and your seat.
This takes two people but sit on your seat with your feet on the pegs with the bike level. Hold a yard stick up level ( I tape a small level to the yard stick) positioned at nose level. Measure the distance between the yard stick and the top edge of the fairing. That should get you real close to the height of the shield you should be looking at.
You want to be looking over the shield, not through it...
