Default Black Fork Wear?

I am considering putting black fork lowers on my SG. I will purchase the HD black kit. How well do HD black lowers wear compared to chrome? Do they look 10,000 miles down the road?

I had them on my last bike for 45,000 miles and they wore just fine. Wash them, wax them, and they'll be fine.

As luck would have it, I have a freshly powder coated set for sale right now....

Don't know about the harley ones but I've got about 20k one the current ones I had powder coated and had about 40k on my old RG ones. Couple of little nicks are easy to spot paint. Still look/looked great. Chrome ones on my RK are worse.

I used the Harley brand on my nightrain and the powder coat they used looked great after 27,000, but like others are doing it would be cheaper to just get your stock set powder coated locally.
