Gents thanks for all the inputs. While some May have misunderstood my question, many of you caught what I was getting at. Thank you for the positive input! I too have heard good things about 204. Leaning towards 57h or similar in my bike down the road. Just interesting to get some good opinions on your sound. Oh how I love the sound...bout as much as I love the chrome! Ride on!

Im runnin the se254 love the way they run. Love the way they run. Thet seem to really come on around 2000rpm or so and just never seem to let up. They just pull harder as you go up in the rpm range. Now to the op best soundin cams imo is woods 777 or 888.

I think the exhaust will effect the way your cams sound as well. I am running true duals with vance and hines turn downs and it sounds nice at idle. I have the woods 555 cams in mine. Changed mufflers last year to tone it down some on longer rides and really muffled the lobe at idle. That's on a road king.

[The real question should be what cams will boost my power/throttle response in the RPM range that I ride most?]

Agree 100%
I ride between 3000 & 4200 RPMS 95% of the time; why would one upgrade to CAMS that start at the upper range or over where you ride?
Installed the S&S EZ551 CAM Chest with Oil Pump, CAM Plate, new pushrods, chains, etc... at 41k miles was going to have to crack it open soon to see how everything looked - couldn't be happier! Off the line with bite and able to pass much easier on the HWY at 85+ MPH.

As far as sound, noticed a little difference with my Rinehart Racing 4" true duels (shorter baffles) and tuned with TMax.

S⚡️S 585 all day long. Sounds like a 68 Camaro if you have SS SPO’s or Rinehart True Duals on a 103 or 110.
