Default Rubber Mount vs Solid Mount Same Noise?

Since making the jump from shovel to the 07 Ultra Classic and experiencing these "noises", there comes a question to mind that may have already been asked. Does the solid mounted drive train as in the softtail make the same noises as the rubber mounted? Perhaps the rubber mount, gear ratios, and final drive speed sets up a harmonic thats creating the dance between our legs thats rattling our unsettled minds.

Dunno............. Here we go again perhaps!

Default RE: Rubber Mount vs Solid Mount Same Noise?

The Softail engines make more noise than the rubber mounted motors because of the counter blanacers that are rolling around inside.
