Default Looking for a new set of bars, Need info

Hi all, I'm in the market for a new set of bars for my 07SG And I'm thinking between 12" -16" Not sure its hard to tell height by looking at pictures. Does anyone know the dimension's of the stock Handle bars so I have something to go by I would measure them myself but the bike is in storage. Also how high can I go before I need to switch cables? Does anyone sell a Kit ( Bars & cables) for an 07 SG? Thanks all for the info

According to the Wild 1 website the stock SG bars are 7.5" high, 31" wide and have 11" of pullback. Some of the 12" bars will fit with stock cables but will likely require re-routing. Pretty much everything over 12" will need new cables. Tons of good bars out there, check out websites for Buky, Wild 1s, BR customs, Yaffe, LA Choppers, etc etc. If I remember from other posts, somewhere around 12" will put your hands about level with the top of the fairing. Also do a search, tons of posts on here about install and wiring tech tips.

Anything over 10" will require cable work...contact Handlebar Louie (forum vendor), he'll treat you right.

You can also check out HCC Hill Country Customs. They have a huge selection of different sizes and you can get complete kit which includes every thing but the grips or, you can buy a kit and wire it yourself.
