Armorall, 303, Pledge, etc. Almost all contain silicone to make things shiny. It's right there in the MSDS.

I spent some time doing side by side and back to back comparisons of the various products on the market. Found virtually no difference in performance on life between any of them.

I don't remember when i washed my bike last so i guess i don't really worry about shiny tires...

Yes, and even the fish eye eliminator doesn't work all the time...it just introduces an oil into the paint so the new paint can blend better with the contaminant already on the surface...but you can't get the paint to lay down like it should when you use FEE. At least, that's been my experience...

Unless you're applying it with a trowel to the tread, using armorall wipes judiciously on the sidewall isn't going to cause a loss of traction.
