You need to see Bear tooth pass, and Glacier Nat'l Park on that trip. Come north and then back east to Sturgis. You'll never regret it. That's going to be a killer ride. Enjoy.

Our goal was to get this competently striped in one day so we could start to assemble the good stuff soon.

This is getting very exciting for me and hope to be riding in a few weeks.
You just guaranteed snow for the next 4 months. Nicely done.

Sheesh, I think you should have a seat and a nice cup of warm cocoa. Long winters can make folks a little cranky. As you were Gary.

And if you do get caught tell them you just changed the transmission and you haven't had a chance to re-calibrate the speedometer yet. Worked for me once.

Don't be a hater. I dumped 6K in a new CVO RGU and was just getting started. Boss said sell and I did.

Planning and executing upgrades on a bike is the most enjoying thing I have ever done in my life. Doing work myself makes it even more enjoyable. Wish I knew how to port heads and grind my own cams.

Just bought another CVO, RK this time around. Bought it in January, won't see it till June. Still stuck here in afghani****instan.

Motor on and spend what you can. Life is too short.

Reminds me of a post on a car forum I'm on. Dude buys a very slightly used 370Z and immediately rips it apart. He did a complete weight reduction to it and had clearly stated from the beginning of his build that it was a track car. He didn't care about astetics. Well, when the lip spoiler and wing went on, he took such a beating from other forum members as to how stupid it looked, that it ended up dominating the very cool build thread. I think some folks just don't like to soo other guys spend money.
