help with 2007 Ultra tank removal
Will be doing some work on a friends bike this weekend. Trying to do some pre-planning.
The fuel tank has to come off as part of the work. Can someone tell me if the 2007 Ultras have a crossover tube at the front of the tank or are they the same as the newer bike with no crossover tube? Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks for the help. Do you think I could get wires under the tank without removing the tank (just loosening it) I am going to be installing an amp and need to be able to run wires to the battery and rear speakers.

Yes you can run wires under the tank without completely removing it. Remove front & rear mounting bolts. Place piece of wood under tank to prop it up. Fish wires through. zip tie wires to frame. Take out wood. Install mounting bolts. Turn on acc and test speakers. Open beer, enjoy music, and pat yourself on the back.

I would be afraid of pinching and rubbing the insulation off(the wiring) without securing it under the tank.
