Default GPS power adapter ?

I know this has been addressed before, I apologise but I can't seem to find it.

Looking for a 12v adapter that I can plug into cig lighter on Street Glide that does not hit tank when bars are turned.

I thought somebody had a 90 degree adapter or some kind of fix.

As an alternate to the cig lighter plug, you might try this: http://batterytender.com/usb-charger-qdc.html .

A much more reliable connection and altho it is currently out of stock it may be worth waiting for. Also be sure what you get has the amp rating you need. Many USB adapter/chargers just don't put out enough amps. Cheers

Depending on your GPS, you may not be able to use your DATA cable except for charging? I know on my Garmin, I can't use the GPS in a car using the cable that I attach the GPS to my PC for downloading.
There are companies that make replacment cables.
