Looks great, doesn't stick out so bad. It was one of the first mods I made on my last 2 bikes. My son in law runs a powder coating shop so he did mine for FREE.

Warning it gets addictive. I started with forks and tins, then cam and trans cover, then wheels, then did the whole engine/trans in SE textured/wrinkle black during rebuild. Oh and topping it off with polished 12 point ARP bolts. Im almost done
Agreed--it can get very addictive--in relation to paint it is relatively inexpensive, especially if you can't paint your own (or have friends that can) things. I am definitely a fan of the powdercoating, but it can be excessive for sure (at times). I did mine a little at a time and love the results--starting with a denim black bike I was tempted to "murder it out", but opted to balance the denim and flat motor finishes with chrome and gloss black as my plan was to paint the bike as it is now. But the most compliments I got on the bike prior to paint was powdercoating my highway bar, headlight bezel, primary cover and floor board frames. Your bike looks great!

My wife's family is from southeast virginia. We could be cousins, (by marriage). You think your son in law would mind doing mine for the same 'family' rate?
