Default Help! Saddlebag conversion fron civillian to police style

I'm trying to convert my civ bags to police style hinge and latch. What I'm looking for is the dimensions to drill the lid latch and the bag catch. Can someone please take a picture with a tape measure to the center of the latch on the inside of the lid???

Thanks Ted. So it's about 12 1/4 for the rear edge. What is it from the inside edge?

Aren't there little dimples on the inside of the lid and bag where hole center is?

Look at your lids real close as I bet there are dimples or marks where you need to drill, on my cop bags and the dimples are there for the civilian latches and hinges.
