Exclamation LRS Mako on your Road Glide. Got one???

Hoping for some responses as I HATE looking through a shield and have been quite happy with my past LRS shields for my Road King, both regular LRS shield as well as several for the Memphis Shades fairing. So if you have one how do you like it?

Thanks,

Fred

Okay, my name really is Mike. Michael to the ladies though, especially my sweetie....

I have a 13" dark, I'm 5-9, works fine.

I'll probably get a Madstad soon because I hate money.

When LSR first came out with the Road Glide shields, I was a "test pilot" for them. In fact my sled was on their website back then.

Anyways, I ordered the darkest tinted screen they had. I actually liked the screen and it worked for me very well! However, because it was my fault, I ordered the black tint and you Could not see though it all. (And LSR said that prior) I have since moved on.

Slightly after the release of this first edition, they came out with the "mako" version which comes in different sizes.

I can tell you this, price, quality, made in the USA, customer service, forum member discount! was/is second to none!

Like "LP" mentioned above check out Roadglide.org site.

As you will get much more responds over there as there are more "sharks" lurking in those waters.

Good luck,

YB

I have a 13" light smoke on mine. I'm 5'7" and went with the advice I got from the sales folks at LRS. The top of the shield is below my sight line but it still pushes the air up over my head.

I bought a 16" clear for long distance and the quality and customer service was second to none! I ended up buying a second one 13" in the medium tint for around town. With the forum members discount, I paid about the same for both of my LRS as a single from the stealership. I'm 5'8" and the 13" is below my sight line. I got the 16"er so it would direct the wind flow up and over the Mrs. when she's a passenger. HTH.
