Well my ignorant **** fixed it with some epoxy and a thumbtack, got break lights again In case some are wondering I broke off the tip off the switch when I changed my grips. Learned you need to shim the break lever.
I shoved a piece if rubber in there on mine. Definitely not a stout design from the MoCo. I have a replacement switch, did not feel like going through the hassle when the rubber shim worked.

Yep just make sure if you replace it to get one from Drag Specialties. They make an almost exact replica but I think it's more durable. I think I got it for $18 shipped to my Harley dealer. They didn't know drag sold them and the OEM replacement was $60.

Mine does the same and I placed/glued a small tab onto the lever to push the micro switch rubber further in. Temp fix but what the hell is the shim cardboard secret and where does one place it on the brake lever?
