Tuning map thread interest?

Tuning map thread interest?
Would there be any interest in starting a thread for tuning maps? Regardless of tuner brand.
You could search thru it for your particular tuner.
I think it would help those of us that do our work and tuning. I just did a 96 to 110 upgrade and have been comparing other tunes I downloaded from various places. Mostly comparing and trying different afr settings. It would also help by giving you a place to get a starter tune after a new build.

I like the idea since I am just getting started with a new tuner. There are a lot of members here that really know their stuff.
I read the whole sticky on the Power Vision and learned much..wish I would have started on around page 300..it had me a bit confused till I figured out the software changed, but it was a good read regardless.

And we wonder why dyno tuners want to lock tunes.
Seems like a good idea on the surface nothing new this has been talked about many, many times.
Do you wonder why its not already there?
What about some fool loading up a bad tune the guy that does not know better hurts his bike?
Some spend a lot of money and time doing homework etc. some may feel why give it away?
To many cons IMO.

It's a really nice idea in theory, but having looked at a few of the maps posted recently, there's no way in the world I'd recommend loading them into anyone's bike.
On top of that, guys make a living tuning bikes, and it sure doesn't seem right giving away what they do.
FM, Dynojet, and a few other manufacturers and distributors offer free maps to their customers. Those maps and some DIY tuning, or a good custom dyno tune are a far, far better alternative to just downloading a map from a stranger and hoping it's right.
