You will get a million answers to this.

I have (as lots do) the Harley Hi-Viz suit. Terrific. Search can be your friend.

For "just in case" I carry frogg toggs as they pack small, full suits like the HD Hi Vis are great but pricey. tourmaster makes a nice mid grade suit.

I don't usually advertise for the Moco but in this case, HD rain gear beats all other options and you will be paying for high quality stuff that performs. Please don't ask me about my experience with Frogg Toggs as I don't want to relive the most miserable day of motorcycling...

I'm not a moco zealot either, but other than the fugly orange/black, the harley suit works VERY well, and is easy to put on over gear & boots in the wind, at the side if the road.

I agree, I've had Frogg Toggs for over 10 years, I think about $50 back then. I'm happy with them, they do the job, 2 issues I have is one, they don't have heat protection on the legs, gotta keep them away from the pipes. Other problem is my riding buddies tell me I look like the Sta Puff marshmallow man when I'm wearing them...:-)

Whatever brand, do not buy gear because it "looks" good.
Also beware of too big as well, the excess size can lead to excessive flapping of the fabric which can eventually compromise the ability to shield you form rain.
You get real warm in raingear.

Get Booties. Or waterproof boots.
Booties look goofy as heck, are just strange to walk in and easily are burnt on the exhaust, rubber stains are tough.---- Lowers just about eliminate wet foot issues, whether they are the hard ones or soft snap on ones.

Glove that are actually waterproof/windproof are nice.

After riding many years and miles in rain I have tried a lot of different raingear and nothing beat a one piece overall rainsuit from Tourmaster.

Not always but most times !!

Ever had cheap raingear rip apart and while doing so created small parachutes that tried to ****** you off the back of your bike ??? That is when no raingear is best !!

Tourmaster makes great gear. I have some effective HD rain gear. Nice that it packs up very small. I always keep it in the bike, just in case. Problem is it is not vented, and in on and off rain, you can sweat so much wearing it, you would have been better off just getting rained on. If we are off for a multi day trip, we always carry the Tourmaster gear.
