Wiley X offer super protection and a KNOWN brand for bikers. Worth the money if ever seen the video of a rock hitting a NON-polcarb high-end lense. Ouch.

Just wish Wiley X would make an Rx one with more severe astigmatism, etc. They tend to run in a narrow range for Rx due to curved frames. Does anybody have a friend at Wiley X or HD to pass this on...?

Over the past 10 years I have owned several models of the Wiley X glasses and they have all lasted very well, with and without the foam inserts.

Can't beat the price for prescription lenses.
I have these frames as well. Very well made. I have some kind of dark transition type progressive prescription lenses. Almost get as dark as sunglasses and light enough to use in twilight. Can't remember the lens. Wife and her sister are opticians and usually I get really good stuff...cheaper.

Call Wiley-X and ask for their Rx dept. tell them you don't have a reliable dealer near you. They will work with you. I bought three pairs from them that way. Ask for Tiare Siu. She's in the Rx dept. and she's a huge help. It's critical that you let them use their lab to get the 8 base curve lenses.

Oakley Half Jacket 2.0 XL's. See if you can find the set that comes with 3 sets of lenses (clear, amber, and grey) as well as a storage case. I wear them 100% of the time when I'm riding.

OP didn't really specify prescription lenses, but I assume that's what he meant. I wore Wiley-Xs for several years and was happy with them...till the BX ran a sale on the Liberty line of action/sports frames. They were waayyyy cheaper than the Wiley's. I got both the clear and tinted lenses. Changing lenses is easy and surprisingly secure...I've never had one come out unintentionally. Just the right amount of wind protection but no fogging issues. I like these Liberties way more than the Wileys...but this is kind of a boxer/brief/thong issue...take a look at as many as you can and make an informed decision based on what YOU like.

Heres' my review of some convertibles. You can get wily's at JP cycles, I just don't blow that kind of money when there's an alternative.

Because I wear prescription lenses I will continue to buy riding glasses at my optometrist. Wouldn't trust an order with HD anymore than an optometrist at Wal-mart, and that's not very much. I have a narrow face that makes for a minimal selection of frames.
