Default Power Port Duals

I have been checking a number of web pages for catless header pipes, we all
know who is the players in this field. Has anyone bought Power Port Dual Headpipes from
Cobra USA ? How do they preform ? Is the fit & finish as good as
Fuelmoto or Vance & Hinnes ? I know it will cost less if I just remove the
Catalytic Converter out of my header pipe my self, but will I get the same type
of performance out of my header. Let me know what you think, thanks John.

This was to go into the Rushmore section

It seems you have your mind already kinda made up towards a true dual type header.
And that's OK, it's a taste thing and it's your bike

Performance-wise, unless you have some kinda monster motor, a de-catted stock header will be your best bang for buck.
you save about $300 doing it this way

I have the Cobra Power Ports on my Road Glide. Fit and finish is very nice. They were on the bike when I bought it but I see no need to change them out. The Power Duals from V&H might provide a little more power or a little deeper ruble but I'm leaving the bike as is. In 10K miles I have put on this bike in 6 months I have no complaints about the pipes.

Are the power ports ceramic coated? I know Cobra sells a header that is ceramic coated, just wondering if those are them.

I don't know if they are coated or not, the Cobra Power Port duals do have a crossover
between the duals to add more torque and balance the back pressure.

Not the same, not heat treated or ceramic coated....best place to research for factual information is the Cobra website. ;-)

I use to sell Cobra pipes and had lots of returns. Not the best made.

I run the POWER PORT DUALS along with the TRI-FLO slip ons they look and sound great and the finish is first rate very easy install.

S&S also makes an H pipe (like Cobra). The nice thing about H pipes is they look like true duals, sound like true duals, but have a broader torque curve (usually) than true duals.
I like them because they give the "stereo" sound of true duals but better power. Lots of reading availabe on here for these two pipes.
