I mentioned Rat in a thread,,, so I thought Id bring it up.
Any "Rats" out there???
I kinda like them,,,,, they got a hell of a lot more character than a
unridable custom,,
lets see your pics,hear your stories etc......

I'm thinkin that should be my 3rd bike?!

Got on ein our area,, bought a new bagger ( not sure of year) never washes it, has stuff all over it. Real nest, draws a lot fo attention eveyrwhere.
he pulls a trailer with it and delivers eggs

 

There's one down the road from me , a standard, has sit out in the front yard for at least 10 years.

 

I work with a guy whos got a '99 Ultra. From the looks of it, its never been washed. Otherwise he takes pretty good care of it, mechanically speaking.

 

well ,, weve seen fads come and go,,, bobs,the softails were hot early 90s
choppers, customs,, Now its Baggers,,,,,
way I see it ,, next trend is us tired old geezers will start a" Rat" Fad.
cant imagine 80 year olds maintaing all that chrome

 

I owned a biker bar for almost 20 years(I sold it two years ago).

My business partner was a Hells Angel, & years back he rode a 1948 Indian Chief.

He once rode the bike to work every day through an upstate NY Winter because he didn't own a car at the time. That bike sure wasn't much to look at(rat would have described it fairly well, unfortunately I don't have any pics of it), but it did get him to work every day.

There is a guy that rides a rat and works at the HD dealership in my area. It's trully an eye sore. He has a piece of cardboard to go under the bike cause it leaks oil heavily. I will go take a picture next weekend if I can.
