Tradeoff for the light weight I guess.

Compressible down to about football size would be nice.
The deluxe HD cover is about full briefcase size.
I suppose a long bungee wrapped around the bike might reduce the flapping'
but it introduces hassle factor.

Thanks for the assistance so far.
Covers are just a PITA when traveling.
You have to come out and put the cover on after the bike cools down.
And what do you do with the cover if it rains all night?
Fold it up wet? Then you have to store it wet.
More negatives than positives for me. JMHO

I've got one of these that folds up into the bag provided that is great for on the road. It's a cheap cover that does a good job of keeping the elements off and providing minimal security ( keeping kids off the scooter ) I've had it for about 5 or 6 years. It takes up very little room too.

Google, Pudasha pm3bs, it's a X-large cover very light weight and came in a small pouch. Covers my 2002 EGS perfect even if I had a tour pack. $17.49 to your door off Ebay. The fit is amazing.

This:

If it's windy, the cover doesn't go on. If I don't get to the hotel early enough to clean the bike that evening, the cover doesn't go on.

There have been lots of nights w rain showers.... And my seat is dry when I start off the next morning. Well worth storing a damp cover for that day. The cover then comes out at that nights hotel, and is dry before the bike is cool enough for it to be put on.....

Wife and I take several long trips each year (14K miles in 2013) and we both have these covers. They're well used and we're about ready for new ones.....

I also sleep better knowing the bike is shielded from prying eyes.....
Yeah, it won't stop a thief, but it keeps the casual jerk away......

I have this exact cover! It's been great, takes up virtually no room, it's been $ well spent for me.

I've used a Dowco Guardian cover for years. It's light weight and folds up small. You can see it bungied to the tourpak in the attached picture.

wally world cover, good price with its own very small storage bag, at night I use two bungee cords to pull it tight on the bottom one behind the front wheel and the other in front of the rear wheel.....pulls taut and seems to work good

Looks to be the same as the "Pushta".
I got an error when I punched in my year/model :

"This part is not compatible with 2014 Harley-Davidson Street Glide Special FLHXS"

But this is looking promising so far. Thanks.
